Kyle earned his B.S. in Biochemistry from Purdue University in 2018 and an M.S. degree from Purdue University in Chemical Engineering in 2021, and his Ph.D. in Medicinal Chemistry and Molecular Pharmacology in 2024. His research interest is in assessing the effects of mutated DNMT1 on the neuron and microglia function. By using iPSC-derived cells, he is investigating the cause of neuron degradation in this disease model.  He has also been investigating the use of CRISPR prime editing systems in iPSCs.
