Prior to joining the Laboratory, Emily Schorer served as senior vice president of Human Resources for Cape Cod Healthcare in Massachusetts, the leading healthcare services provider and largest employer on Cape Cod. Prior to Cape Cod Healthcare, she worked for the Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution for several years, last serving in the role of chief administrative officer. She is a member of the corporation at Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution and a trustee of Riverview School, an independent boarding school for students with complex language and learning challenges. Schorer currently leads all human resources operations for The Jackson Laboratory and oversees organizational and cultural development, talent acquisition and workforce planning, diversity and inclusion, human resources information systems, total rewards, occupational health, and environmental health & safety services.
