Dana Farengo-Clark, MS, LCGC is a senior genetic counselor at the Basser Center for BRCA, the MacDonald Cancer Risk Evaluation Center and the Gastrointestinal Cancer Risk Evaluation Program at the University of Pennsylvania. She has been practicing oncology genetics for over 20 years. In her work as a cancer genetic counselor, she sees a diverse cohort of patients who are at risk to carry mutations in hereditary cancer susceptibility genes. She has been involved in numerous studies focusing on hereditary gastric cancer, somatic to germline genetic testing and the clinical implementation of genetic medicine to promote the health of individuals and their families. Dana is also the co-chair of the admissions committee for the University of Pennsylvania Master’s Program in Genetic Counseling and enjoys being a clinical instructor and supervisor.
