I received my BS degree from National Taiwan University, Taiwan.

I received my MS and PhD degrees in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from U. California, Berkeley.I did my postdoc in MIT in RNA biochemistry. I started my career at Thomas Jefferson University, Philadelphia, USA, studying RNA biochemistry and biology. I have remained and enjoyed working at Jefferson for the last 20 years. My lab is exploring how RNA post-transcriptional modifications regulates gene expression in human health and disease.
