Barak A Cohen, PhD is a professor of genetics at Washington University in St. Louis School of Medicine. The Cohen Lab studies the information in cis-regulatory DNA that generates cell-type-specific patterns of gene expression. High-throughput studies of gene regulation provide the data to construct models that predict patterns of gene expression from the sequence features present in cis-regulatory DNA.
