As senior director of development, Nancy leads a team of philanthropic gift officers and provides strategic guidance on JAX’s fundraising efforts in the areas of principal gifts, major gifts, and planned giving.

Nancy came to JAX in 2017 following a distinguished career in higher education fundraising capped by her service as director of development at Colby College. As a leading philanthropic advisor and strategic planner, Nancy has worked with donors across the country and in key global markets such as London and Paris. As a dedicated leader for the development team, she works to foster a culture of empowerment, open communication and appreciation that she believes is key to a team’s success.

Nancy serves as president of the Maine Planned Giving Council, a state chapter of the National Association of Gift Planners, that promotes the benefits of charitable giving through planned gifts and encourages donors to incorporate planned giving into their philanthropy. She received her B.S. in Business Management and her M.B.A. from Thomas College and resides in Maine.
