Dr. Saritas graduated in medicine at the Charité University Berlin, Germany. In 2012, hej oined the Division of Nephrology at the University Hospital RWTH Aachen, Germany, where he is working as a scientist, consultant nephrologist, intensive care specialist and educator. His research interests include cardiovascular risk factors in kidney disease and role of inflammatory cardiac fibroblasts in cardio-renal syndrome. Dr. Saritas is an early career investigator within the Leducq Inflammatory Fibrosis HF network.
