Xin Jin is an Assistant Professor in the Dept of Neuroscience and a member of the Dorris Neuroscience Center at Scripps Research. She received her B.Sc. in Chemistry from MIT and her Ph.D. in Biology from The Rockefeller University working in the Lab of Cori Bargmann. As a Junior Fellow at the Harvard Society of Fellows, she worked with Paola Arlotta, Feng Zhang and Aviv Regev to develop and apply in vivo genetic screening tools to study brain development. She is the recipient of the Klingenstein-Simons Fellowship Award, Harold and Leila Y. Mathers Foundation Award, Donald and Delia Baxter Young Investigator Award, Larry Hillblom Foundation Award, Early Career Investigator Award from the International Society of Autism Research, Allison Doupe Fellowship from McKnight Endowment Fund, and was named as one of the ‘35 Innovators Under 35’ by MIT Tech Review in 2022.
