I conducted my undergraduate studies in Biological Sciences at Carnegie Mellon University and PhD at MIT with Susan Lindquist. I began to develop and apply genome editing tools in 2017 in the laboratory of David Liu. This year, I joined the faculty at the Johns Hopkins Department of Genetic Medicine where I am building my laboratory to employ efficient genome editors to treat genetic disease.
