I work on stem cell biology, differentiation, and in-vitro validation (using CRISPR/cas9 editing) of genetic variants that influence addiction.
As a student at the University of New Hampshire, I worked as an undergraduate research assistant in Dr. Rick Cote's lab. The research conducted was focused on the isolation and expression of a PDE6 protein important in the light signalling pathway of the eye.
Following graduation I began working here I as a research assistant in Dr. Laura Reinholdt’s laboratory, where I focus on stem cell biology, differentiation, and in-vitro validation (using CRISPR/cas9 editing) of genetic variants that influence addiction in support of the Center for Systems Neurogenetics of Addiction.
