Lauren has extensive experience analyzing large-scale time series hippocampal neurophysiology data. She also has experience leveraging advanced data analytical, statistical and visualization techniques to investigate microbial community composition using 16S, shotgun metagenomic and metatranscriptomic technologies. She serves as the analytical liaison between collaborators and clients for Microbial Genomic Services at JAX-GM. Her research focuses on understanding the role of the microbiome in health and disease. Lauren is interested in the relationship between the microbiome and the brain.
