Cellular Biologist I

Support clients by performing a variety of assays in the single cell biology laboratory.

I have 6 years of experience in clinical histology labs preparing microscopic slides for diagnostic evaluation by pathologists. This work included receiving, processing, cutting and staining a variety of human tissues and performing special stains and IHC after H&E analysis. I earned my master's degree in molecular biology from CCSU in August 2024. My thesis focused on using a complementation strategy between castaneous mice carrying the Bolt mutation and Axin2tm1Yaz mice (ordered from JAX!) to determine the location of the Bolt mutation. I anticipate serving as a co-author in a publication describing the collective work of Dr. Thomas King's lab on the Bolt mutation at CCSU. I am excited to be a part of the SCBL team and look forward to the work I will be doing here at JAX.
