I have been an employee of the Jackson Laboratory since July of 1989 working in the labs of Dr. Les Kozak, Dr. Ben Taylor, Dr. Ed Leiter, Dr. David Harrison, and now with Dr. Ron Korstanje. I have contributed authorship to 46 scientific papers including 11 first-authorships. Current position is to oversee the JAX portion of the Interventions Testing Program consortium under the NIA. Duties include overseeing the maximum lifespan cohorts initiated yearly; determine diets (and amounts) to be ordered each month for all three institutions of the consortium; develop new diets working with TestDiet; oversee pilot studies using new diets; report updates of lifespan and pilot data to the consortium; oversee direct reports involved in the work.
