Biomedicine in Maine is on the cusp of an exciting growth phase. Scientists are incubating new ideas, and institutions are investing in resources and building new partnerships to advance human health. As we continue to move forward together, we want to be creative and strategic about where the state is going in biomedicine, innovation and technology.

This day-and-a-half long conference will showcase the research and partnerships that are driving not only our state’s science and advancements in disease treatment options, but also its economy and growth. At the Maine BIT Conference, experts from across biomedical, data science and disease research areas will examine and discuss emerging technologies and how they are providing solutions and shaping the future of medicine and human health. We’ll also hear from patients and policy makers about the critical nature of collaboration, both inside and outside the state of Maine.
