My research interests relate to develop MRI contrast agents and to use MRI techniques to investigate different disease models. In my career, I had developed a few responsive MRI contrast agents that response to pH, temperature and metabolic levels and also developed a totally new type of MRI contrast agent, known as “PARACEST” (PARAmagnetic Chemical Exchange Saturation Transfer). Since last decade, I have changed my role by running Mouse MRI Core. I am very exciting that I can help investigators from different scientific fields. More recently, I am focusing on MRI neuroimaging techniques, such as Diffusion Tensor Imaging (DTI) and resting-state functional MRI (rsfMRI). Trained in Physical Chemistry, I favor a multidisciplinary approach to solving scientific problems.
