Utilizes bio-printed tissue models to longitudinally investigate host immune-microbiome interactions in autoimmune disease.
The research centers on utilizing organ-on-a-chip technology to investigate the interplay between the immune system and the microbiome in gastrointestinal disorders, with a particular focus on the intestine. Furthermore, I have experience in creating microfluidic devices for organoid culture and enhancing in vitro models of healthy and pathological intestine. Additionally, host immune-microbiome interactions in autoimmune diseases was explored through bioprinted tissue, aiming to reveal the underlying cross-regulatory mechanisms for microbiome studies.
