We obtain our mouse models for human disease in several ways, including selecting spontaneous mutants showing disease symptoms, engineering specific mutations, and acquiring models generated by other researchers. We also actively gather, assess and distribute models generated by researchers investigating particular diseases to ensure high quality and standardization.
