I am interested in evaluating how genetic susceptibility and resilience affects regional and cell-type composition in relation to behavioral phenotypes of Alzheimer's disease model mice.

Since graduating from Allegheny College in 2018 and entering the Kaczorowski Lab, I have had the opportunity to study the presence of genetic modifiers that influence the onset and progression of Alzheimer's Disease. My work focuses on creating individual brain maps from a large panel of AD-BXD strains, which may elucidate significant contributing factors in determining individual risk or resilience to AD pathology, cognitive symptoms, and non-cognitive symptoms.
