Victoria joined JAX Genomic Medicine in the clinical laboratory in May of 2020 during the pandemic. She has been responsible for the processing of COVID-19 testing, and recently transitioned to a research role in which she aids in the development and implementation of new processes utilized in the lab. Prior to her current role, she received a degree in Molecular and Cell Biology at the University of Connecticut, where she also worked in a drug-discovery project involving human Protein Kinase R in the Cole Lab. She is currently pursuing her master’s degree in Applied Genomics at the University of Connecticut, and her main interests are genetics and cancer research.
